Ross Sinclair reflects on his Real Life Gordon’s / Deveron Arts residency in Huntly

This is a very interesting and engaging slideshow/voice over lecture reflective statement from Ross Sinclair on his 3 month residency at Deveron Arts, Huntly last year. The energy, the anxiety, the what if’s for the artist in working in this context with a theme, blimey, what would it have been like if he didn’t do what he did, the gathering together of the local Gordons was a significant human reason to do all this. Important document of the project from the voice of the artist.

Finding spaces for exhibitions

This little cave on the coastal rocks near my house is an interesting place to imagine an exhibition as its never immersed by the sea and mostly dry but sits on a natural ledge just above the sea.
